Set-up, operation, and maintenance of manual screen and pad printing equipment in a fastpaced, high-pressure sheet metal manufacturing environment; managed department supplies inventory; advised engineering and sales departments for printing operations; point-of-contact for graphics-related vendors; various prepress duties including color separations and plate preparation; trained new workers in department

  • gave shop more control over printing process by taking responsibility for previously outsourced artwork development
  • knowledge of printing techniques and design opened sales opportunities for a greater variety of customers with more specific needs (different substrates, odd-shaped parts, etc.) including providing design and process counsel to customers on parts requiring graphics
